Expedia’s got a lot going on these days. It is preparing for its 2019 move to Seattle from the suburb of Bellevue. The company recently scaled back plans for the initial buildout of the headquarters, but it will still make a mark on the waterfront.
Expedia is also considering spinning off Trivago, a Düsseldorf, Germany-based hotel search company, that it bought a 62 percent interest in for $632 million in 2012.
