The Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2) is currently hiring for several positions, continuing its year-long “hiring spree.” AI2 CEO Oren Etzion told GeekWire previously that the company is growing dramatically, and plans to add about 75 jobs this year.

Seattle-based AI2 was founded by Paul Allen in 2014, and has quickly become a leader in artificial intelligence research.

One open position is a Full Stack Software Engineer on AI2’s Semantic Scholar project, an academic search engine supported by machine learning. The position requires coding expertise and familiarity with HTML, CSS, Java, and Python. geekwork1

Candidates should be prepared to work in a small organization, be able communicate efficiently, and take initiative in their work. Check out AI2’s other openings here.
