M87, a mobile technology startup helmed by former T-Mobile exec Cole Brodman, made headlines last month when it announced that it was moving its headquarters to Seattle and that it had raised a $5 million round led by Seattle’s Madrona Venture Group.
The startup’s technology helps wireless carriers improve network performance by creating dynamic device-to-device mesh networks. M87 is hiring for several new engineering positions in Seattle as it grows its operations. One of the open positions is for a Virtual Private Network and Security Software Engineer.
The position requires experience implementing and troubleshooting VPNs, programming in C or C++, and three or more years experience with TCP/IP networking. Bonus points for Linux, Android, and/or iOS dev experience, or for experience with cell or wifi networks.
