GW Summit 2016 200x225This year’s GeekWire Summit is so big it won’t fit on one stage.

For the first time this year, we’ll be featuring bonus content on a second stage in the GeekWire Lounge, in the exhibit hall at the Sheraton Seattle — including a live stream of Blue Origin’s daring in-flight escape test with live expert commentary, and the first-ever live recording of the popular technology podcast Acquired.

Here’s the schedule of content for Oct. 4 and 5 for the GeekWire Lounge at the GeekWire Summit. A limited number of tickets are still available here if you haven’t yet purchased yours.

Oct. 4, 10:30 a.m.: Join Viki Zabala, CMO of Sirqul and Luis Cifuentes, COO of Sirqul and a special guest from the Burrard Group for a sponsored panel discussion on Building the “Condo of the Future.”

Oct. 4, 2:35 p.m.: Live interview with Greg Gottesman of Pioneer Square Labs, speaking with GeekWire reporter Taylor Soper about lessons learned since Pioneer Square Labs launched at the GeekWire Summit one year ago.

Oct. 5, 7:45 a.m.: Watch the Blue Origin launch with in-person commentary from Alan Boyle, GeekWire’s aerospace and science editor; Joe Landon, chairman of the board for Space Angels Network; and Doug King, president and CEO of the Museum of Flight. (postponed from Oct. 4).

Oct. 5, 10:30 a.m. Special recording of the Acquired podcast with Ben Gilbert of PSL and David Rosenthal of Madrona Venture Group, analyzing a classic tech deal, Apple‘s acquisition of NeXT.

Oct. 5, 12:30 p.m.: GeekWire reporter Taylor Soper will interview Seattle Sounder FC defender Zach Scott, who is retiring from the team after the 2016 season to pursue a career in technology.
