Looking to take the edge out of what he called “one of the most intense, brutal, violent and disturbing games out there,” Conan O’Brien invited rapper Wiz Khalifa on for the latest installment of “Clueless Gamer” to play “Gears of War 4.”
The rap star’s ability to “mellow out the vibe a little bit” translates to lighting up a sizable joint before the two engage in some XBox One combat. Conan held off for a few minutes before partaking, but an overly detailed description of game strategy by his assistant had him reaching for Khalifa’s lighter.
“I never had to rip a robotic Tyrannosaurus rex’s head off before,” Khalifa said after a particularly impressive kill. “But something told me that if that’s what I wanted to do, that’s how I should have done it.”
It was clear things had gone to another level when Khalifa compared one “Gears” landscape to a Bob Ross painting, and Conan got the munchies and started wolfing down potato salad.
