The prettiest selfie shared on Twitter this week wasn’t taken by Kim Kardashian, standing naked in front of a mirror. It was taken by a tree.
The cherry blossoms are a fixture at the University of Washington’s Seattle campus, providing a stunning pink backdrop for photographers every year as spring comes into bloom. On Monday, a Twitter account connected to the trees tweeted an image any co-ed would be proud to call his or her own.
I'm blooming at 85% today! When you look this good, it can be hard to resist taking a selfie. #NoShameInMyGame pic.twitter.com/qAj7Fwvyo4

We especially love the self-confidence exhibited by the blossoms. After all, knowing you’re beautiful goes hand in hand with taking selfies, right? Kardashian has certainly made a career out of that belief.
Take a stroll through the Quad. All paths lead to me! How am I looking, Huskies? pic.twitter.com/rnuHu1EjYc

The blossoms, with more than 2,400 followers on Twitter, are no social media slouches, as recent tweets included a Vine shared by the main UW Twitter feed.
The walk between classes just got more beautiful. The Cherry Blossoms are here! ? #UWcherryblossoms #UW #Un… https://t.co/apkTK7YtS4

And the blossoms offered up a YouTube video last year, also from a UW account, about their own origin and how they ended up in the UW’s Quad.
