A new Amazon original kids series, born out of the company’s pilot development process last year, will make its debut on Prime Video on Sept. 2. “The Stinky & Dirty Show” pilot episode is available to stream today, and nine additional episodes are coming next month.

Based on the “I Stink!” book series by Kate and Jim McMullan, the show “follows the adventures and mishaps faced by best friends and unlikely heroes, Stinky the garbage truck and Dirty, the backhoe loader,” according to Amazon.

“The Stinky & Dirty Show” was one of five pilots ordered in August 2014 and it made its debut in January 2015. The pilot episode was rated 4.8 stars by customers with 86 percent 5-star reviews.

The process gives all customers an opportunity to stream and review pilots in order to help choose the next Amazon Original Series, which then become available to Prime members.

“Stinky & Dirty” features celebrity voice talent from stars including Whoopi Goldberg, Jane Lynch, Andy Richter, Joan Cusack and Wallace Shawn.
