ThinkGeek’s April Fool’s Day joke that a flying Enterprise disc exists has actually come to fruition, according to Gizmodo. The company has made last year’s joke into a real item.
The fully licensed Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise Flying Disc is basically a plastic frisbee with the rest of the Enterprise’s body made of foam. The disc spins freely and the foam section follows, so every toss looks like the iconic spaceship is flying, making the action “100 percent more kirktacular.”
It’s priced at $24.99 and since it’s frisbee season, as ThinkGeek says, feel free to “throw into the final frontier.”
