AppleWatchEvent

Apple just sent out invitations to a select group of press, inviting them to a special “Spring Forward” event that it will be holding on March 9. The presentation will be held at 10 a.m. in San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater – home to a number of past Apple events.

Per usual, Apple isn’t saying anything about what will be discussed at the event, but it’s likely that the company will unveil more details about the Apple Watch, including full pricing information and more about the device’s capabilities than was disclosed at its big reveal last year. We’ll also likely get a final release date, as well as information about how to pre-order one of the Watches.

Apple CEO Tim Cook told people on the company’s most recent quarterly earnings call that the Watch would be released in April, so it would make sense for this to be the Apple Watch’s final unveiling before going on sale.
