Here’s a potentially weird, possibly effective solution to insomnia. Sprayable Sleep.

The founders behind Sprayable Energy, the “first topical energy spray — which gives users a healthier and more effective alternative to coffee and energy drinks,” are getting ready to launch its counterpart, Sprayable Sleep by this July. They are touting it as the “world’s first topical melatonin spray — which helps you get to sleep when you need to — without harsh, addictive chemicals, or ineffective gimmicks.”

Sprayable co-founders Ben Yu and Deven Soni raised nearly $325,000 via an Indiegogo campaign that wrapped March 1 to fund Sprayable Sleep.

With artificial light seriously messing up our sleeping patterns, I’m intrigued. They promise Sprayable Sleep works gradually and consistently with no erratic effects. Official studies on its efficacy have yet to be done, though, so go forth knowing that it may or may not work for you. According to their Indiegogo rates, a three-month supply starts at $45.
