Tigerlogic, a publicly-traded company that operates a social engagement platform and a mobile development studio, is re-locating its headquarters to Portland.

Tigerlogic had already run its social engagement service, Postano, out of a satellite Portland office since 2012. But now the company is consolidating its U.S. operations and moving a handful of employees from its original headquarters in Irvine, Calif., up to the Rose City to join the Postano team.

“The technology community in Portland is growing rapidly and we want to deepen our roots in this dynamic region,” Tigerlogic CEO Roger Rowe said in a statement.

Tigerlogic runs Postano, which helps clients amplify and elevate social media content in real-time, and Omnis, a mobile development platform that lets companies build tailored apps.

Tigerlogic employs 60 people worldwide. The company’s stock fell 10 percent late Friday.
