What if your dog could snap a shot of stuff that excited him?

That’s the latest idea behind Nikon’s “Heartography,” a camera system that links photography to emotions.

It works like this: An elastic band monitors heartbeats and sends the info via Bluetooth to a “smart case” holding the camera. When the source holding the camera, a Nikon Coolpix L31 in this case, sees something he or she likes and the heart rate goes up, the camera takes the shot.

And now, it’s so simple, a dog can do it. The system can sync up to any heartbeat, so Nikon decided to attach it to Grizzler to see what would happen.

Watch this animated little guy run around and take some shots below. Whether Ashton Kutcher can pull it off remains to be seen.
