Bill Murray might be the next in line to become a holiday staple if his Netflix special, “A Very Murray Christmas,” takes off.
Netflix unveiled the trailer for the holiday special today. Directed by Sofia Coppola and featuring a cast that includes George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, and more, it looks like a sure crowd-pleaser for those who loved Murray in the 1988 movie Scrooged — a.k.a., an anti-holiday special that will be fueled by plenty of cocktail party banter.
Now, imagine yourself gathering around a piano with Paul Shaffer and Miley Cyrus and bust out some cheer. We have only about five more weeks of this holiday stuff left.
“A Very Murray Christmas” airs Dec. 4.
