Update: Microsoft’s original blog post misstated the availability of the unlocked 4G LTE Surface 3. Only the AT&T version of the device is available today. We’ve updated the post to reflect updated information from Microsoft.

We already knew that AT&T would start selling Microsoft’s 4G LTE Surface 3 today, but the company announced this morning that T-Mobile business customers will be able to buy the device next week and an unlocked version is coming next month.

Already available to customers in France, Germany, Spain and the UK, the 4G LTE Surface 3 is the same as the currently available Surface 3 but allows users to connect to the internet away from WiFi. The 4G-enabled version will also come in 64GB or 128GB configurations. Users will have to provide their own SIM if they buy the unlocked version.

Starting next week, the tablet will be available to T-Mobile @Work users, but pricing has yet to be announced.

Microsoft also didn’t announce pricing in its press release, but 4G LTE devices are usually $100 more than their WiFi-only brethren. That would put the unlocked 64GB 4G LTE Surface 3 at $600. You can sign up to be notified about the unlocked version at the online Microsoft Store.
