SAN FRANCISCO–Developers from all over the world have gathered at San Francisco’s Fort Mason Center for F8, a conference put on by Facebook to showcase its new tools. Company founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be on hand this morning to kick things off with a keynote address at 10 a.m.
It’s going to be an interesting speech, with Zuck expected to touch on plans to make Facebook Messenger a platform for third-party developers. In addition, he’s slated to announce plans for expanding Facebook’s Parse development platform into the Internet of Things.
