Trending: A ‘punch in the gut’: Fast-growing Seattle startup eyes Bellevue after head tax vote

From the creative minds of JK Brickworks on YouTube comes the Lego Mindstorms cookie-icing machine, a robot device set with three cookie designs — a snowflake, angel and star — that will roll out icing onto the cookie in one nearly perfect, fluid motion.

A lifelong fan of building with Legos, Allemann writes on his website that his hobby has expanded to include “stop motion videos, to collecting Lego Star Wars sets, to building my own custom models.”

Allemann creates the Lego pieces and videos with his partner Kristal (the “K” in JK Brickworks), and they showcase it all, including many motorized robots, animals and spaceships, with instructions on how to build each on their site.
