If this new Doctor Who trailer is any indication of what’s to come, season nine will be dark and filled with heart-pumping drama.
The BBC America series premiered the new trailer at Comic-Con in San Diego yesterday to an excited crowd. As Mashable reports, the stars also took to a panel to talk about the new season but revealed very little.
Here’s what we do know, or at least can speculate about, based on that report: the Doctor’s nemesis Missy returns, there are vikings on a spaceship, and they get a drop-in from a very special guest of another immensely popular series.
Game of Thrones‘ Maisie Williams shows up in the trailer and says, “What took you so long, old man?”
