Intel is hosting a full-day Buzz Workshop for Seattle game developers on July 23 at Impact Hub Seattle. Between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. there will be technical sessions, panels, networking, and a chance to enter your game in the developer showcase competition.
Speakers include: Ed Fries, co-creator of the Xbox, Chas Boyd of Microsoft Direct3D and Kate Edwards of IGDA.

Myth & Magic Faire
What: “Embark on a fantastical journey with EMP Museum as it transforms into a land of myth and magic for this three-day festival at EMP. Visit the realms of Middle Earth, Hogwarts, Narnia, Westeros, Oz, and many more at this weekend of Medieval-inspired fun. This exciting evening is a chance to see Doctorow read from his work and talk about the predictive powers of science fiction for both good and ill. Sounders Day
What: “Join us for a pre-game tailgate on the wonderful rooftop deck of EMC/Isilon — a short walk from CenturyLink field in Pioneer Square — before the Seattle Sounders match on Saturday, July 18. We’ll be wearing our rave green, flying the Sounders flags and showing our geek pride, starting at 4 p.m. We’ll then march to the match before the 7 p.m. kick off.”
