roryeasportsEA Sports has a new cover athlete for its golf franchise.

The gaming company today announced that Rory McIlroy will replace Tiger Woods for its PGA Tour game, which is now called “EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour” and hits shelves in June for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The announcement marks an end of an era. From 1998 to 2013, EA put out an annual “Tiger Woods PGA Tour” game, but stopped in 2013 after it cut ties with Woods, who is no longer golf’s most dominant player. The company did not put out a new golf game in 2014.

McIlroy, meanwhile, has already racked up four major championship wins and is ranked No. 1 in the world — all by the age of 25.

EA noted that the new game will use the Frostbite 3 engine, which will eliminate load times between holes and improve course details.
