In case you missed this one, it will melt your heart.

As ABC News 7 in San Francisco reports here, a Texas boy saving for an iPad donated the $20 he was saving — in mostly pennies — to a local mosque that was vandalized in a Muslim hate crime.

Jack Swanson gave his life savings to the local Islamic center in a suburb of Austin, Texas, which responded that his generous gift of spirit was worth more than “$20 million” to them.

Swanson’s act was noticed by international human rights lawyer Arsalan Iftikhar, a.k.a. the Muslim Guy, who was so touched that he sent him an iPad.

In his note, Iftikhar wrote to Swanson, “Dear Jack. You had saved $20 in your piggybank for an Apple iPad. But then a local Islamic mosque was vandalized. So you donated your $20 to this local Texas mosque instead. Because of your amazing generosity & kind heart. Please enjoy this Apple iPad with our sincere thanks. Love. The American Muslim Community.”
