Bernie Sanders played the “f**k this, I’m going home,” card last night in the nicest way possible when he gave up on live-Tweeting the Republican debate:

Sanders’ Twitter feed is pretty much a perfect real-world example of what happens when you take someone with good intentions and basically wear them down until they give up.

Sanders really loses steam around 7:22 p.m.:

Only about a half hour later, Sanders abandons his mission with his now-famous “I’ve had it” tweet. The move is turning him into an Internet hero of sorts today. Several outlets have already praised his social media skills for his takes on the debate:
