Do you always go to the same old places to grab drinks?

No more. A new web app, Bar Roulette, wants to tap into your adventurous side and help break you out of your social rut by introducing you to new bars.

How does it work? You must have an Uber account, which you use to sign into the Bar Roulette site (it’s not an app available via Apple or Android yet). Once you set the distance you’re willing to travel, the app picks a “top-rated bar on Yelp.” Your Uber arrives, your driver knows your destination — you still do not — and delivers you to the mystery bar, only letting you know where you’re going once you arrive.

The app’s creator Tyler Swartz posted it to Product Hunt, where it’s getting a nice reception, including this gem from Product Hunt’s Ryan Hoover, calling it “the lazy man’s date night.”

Sound fun?
