Business technology services firm Avanade is increasing its global footprint. The Seattle-based company says it will acquire KCS.net, described as one of the largest independent Microsoft Dynamics partners in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

avanadelogoFinancial terms of the deal, which includes KCS.net subsidiaries such as Infoman AG and approximately 300 employees, are not being disclosed. It’s also subject to the usual closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

In a statement, Avanade’s Robert Goegele said, “With KCS.net as part of the Avanade family, our clients will have access to a significantly increased on-shore expertise and track record in the areas of Dynamics AX and CRM. In addition, the .NET and Collaboration capabilities of KCS.net strengthen our practice in Avanade.”

Avanade, majority owned by Accenture, was founded by Microsoft and Accenture in 2000 to focus on Microsoft technologies for businesses and has 25,000 employees in more than 22 countries. KCS.net is based in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
