All sorts of big technology companies and media sites are trying to figure out new ways for readers to consume news. Apple has their new Apple News app, Facebook recently launched Instant Articles, and now Google is chasing them both with the announcement of Accelerated Mobile Pages.

GeekWire has decided to enter the fray with a new reading mode called “Use the Force.”

You may now “Use the Force” on any GeekWire article to open the article in a new Star Wars-themed reading mode, complete with theme music and the iconic opening crawl from one of our favorite movies.

“GeekWire readers have been asking us for new, more exciting ways to stay up to date on the latest technology news,” said GeekWire co-founder Todd Bishop. “Presenting the news in a Star Wars scroll was a natural next step in the evolution of online media.”
