For Game of Thrones fans, uncovering details about season six has been about as fruitful as searching for water in the Red Waste. The recently released teaser didn’t even contain scenes from the next installment of the hit drama.
So, for those thirsty viewers HBO offers this tiny drop: Three seconds from season six in its year-end promo video.
We see Daenarys looking disheveled and dismayed — but still rocking a pretty epic dragon choker. A determined Ramsay Bolton rides with his house’s Flayed Man banner flying in the background and Cersei embraces her son, the king who proved entirely ineffective in sparing her from a harrowing display of public shaming.
The clip doesn’t offer many clues about the next season, but it does point to the dark and drama-filled developments to come.
