titanfallexpedition1Titanfall gamers will have some new content to explore this week as the game’s first map pack will be unveiled on Thursday.

“Expedition,” the first set of three new map packs set to be released by Respawn Entertainment, will feature three new maps — Swampland, Runoff, Wargames — and will be sold for $10.

If you’ve already purchased the $25 Titanfall Season Pass — which gets you all three map packs — you’ll receive “Expedition” for free. The Xbox 360 version will arrive in June.

In its earnings call last week, Titanfall publisher Electronic Arts noted that Titanfall sold 925,000 units in the U.S. just three weeks after it launched on the Xbox One on March 11. EA also announced that it will be partnering with Respawn again for “new Titanfall experiences.”

Titanfall was the best-selling U.S. console title in March. To help increase more sales of the Xbox One, Microsoft created a special discounted bundle specifically for Titanfall last month. However, the game hasn’t helped it propel ahead of Sony for the most popular next-generation console, as PlayStation 4 now has at least a two million console advantage in total sales over the Xbox One.
