One of the best parts of the year-end reviews are the music roundups. Sure, you were probably too busy in 2014 to keep up on all the good stuff, which is why NPR’s list is so awesome: They just did all the hard work for you.
NPR’s music editors have called their “Songs We Love 2014” roundup this year “a really long mixtape.” In the past, it only included about 100 tunes. This year it clocks in at 302. Artists who made the cut include alt-J, Miranda Lambert, Future with Andre 3000, and even Taylor Swift.
You can sort by music staff picks, by genre or hit shuffle to find something unexpected. It’s enough to keep you jamming long into the New Year.
