This one courtesy of Holy Kaw. Winter can be tough in the Upper Midwest, and you have to come up with stuff to do to ward off the crazy. So what to do? The Michiana Rocketry Club launched a porta potty.
Local paper the Michigan City News-Dispatch reports that the 10-foot-tall rocket weighed 450 pounds and required more than 2,800 pounds of thrust for liftoff. Luckily for bystanders, the porta potty — which stayed aloft for 38 seconds — was not full of waste at the time of liftoff or impact.
