With just a week until Thanksgiving, the holiday season is officially upon us and that means one thing for the tech community — gadgets. Whether you’re eying a new device or brainstorming gift ideas for loved ones, there’s no more important time of year for tech gear.
In that spirit, the folks at Gear Live, a Seattle-based, gadget-focused website, invite the Seattle tech community to kick off the holiday season at their big bash Thursday, Nov. 20. The party will have food, drinks, live music and, of course, some big giveaways. In fact, Gear Live is promising each guest will walk away with $50 worth of swag, not including those that win additional prizes.
Gear Live’s Andru Edwards will be presenting his top gadget picks for this holiday season and local musician VellVett will perform.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from ladies fashion and fitness blogger Jess Estrada, men’s fashion guru Drew Morrison, and GeekWire’s John Cook and Taylor Soper.
