GW calendar logoWith just a week until Thanksgiving, the holiday season is officially upon us and that means one thing for the tech community — gadgets. Whether you’re eying a new device or brainstorming gift ideas for loved ones, there’s no more important time of year for tech gear.

In that spirit, the folks at Gear Live, a Seattle-based, gadget-focused website, invite the Seattle tech community to kick off the holiday season at their big bash Thursday, Nov. 20. The party will have food, drinks, live music and, of course, some big giveaways. In fact, Gear Live is promising each guest will walk away with $50 worth of swag, not including those that win additional prizes.
