The mock-up photos of Apple’s new spaceship campus already show off its massive size, but now a drone video shot from above the construction site gives us a better idea of how huge the new site really is.
YouTuber jmcminn flew a DJI Phantom 2 around “Apple Campus 2” and ended up with some awesome footage of the foundation. The video also shows how small the surrounding Cupertino neighborhood looks relative to the new 176-acre campus.
Construction on Campus 2 began this year and is expected to be completed by mid-2016, serving home to 14,200 Apple employees. Apple calls it “an integrated, unified, and secure 21st century campus surrounded by green space” that provides a “serene environment reflecting Apple’s brand values of innovation, ease of use, and beauty.”
