Welcome to Washington — the “romantic” state, according to Amazon.com.

If you’re looking for a romantic place to visit this Valentine’s Day, the state of Washington might be a good place to go.

Amazon.com unveiled its Top 20 Most Romantic Cities on Monday, and Washington had four cities on the list: Seattle (2nd), Vancouver (7th), Spokane (9th) and Everett (18th).

The rankings are based on sales data of cities with more than 100,000 residents, and how often citizens in each location buy products like romance novels and relationship books, romantic comedy movies, romantic music and sexual wellness products.

The most romantic place in the country, according to Amazon, is San Antonio, Texas, marking the city’s first appearance on the list. Meanwhile, San Buenaventura, Calif., New York City and El Monte, Calif., were the least romantic cities.

Amazon has compiled the list for the past five years now, and this is the first time since 2010 that Seattle has ranked among the top 20. While I can see how the Emerald City could be considered “romantic,” I might think twice about taking a date to Vancouver, Everett or Spokane.
