Zillow announced today that beginning in April, the Seattle online real estate company will become the exclusive provider of listings for HGTV’s FrontDoor, the cable channel’s home-related media content website.

Agents who post on Zillow will now have additional marketing thanks to the new exposure coming through FrontDoor. On FrontDoor’s “About Us” webpage, the company explains some changes coming on April 1. FrontDoor will be phasing out its feature listings, credits program and agent profile pages and instead focus on in-depth details at properties powered by Zillow.

“We’re thrilled to welcome HGTV’s FrontDoor to the Zillow Real Estate Network. Zillow’s comprehensive collection of real estate listings and data is a perfect complement to FrontDoor’s useful and entertaining content about homes,” Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff said in a press release. “This partnership also brings enormous benefit to real estate agents and brokerages who send listings to Zillow, by exposing those listings to home buyers on four leading property portals on the Web.”

Zillow will also feature select home improvement video content from Scripps Networks®, which owns HGTV and FrontDoor.
