Nokia-Lumia-1020-smartphoneThe just-announced Nokia Lumia 1020 will be able to take some pretty amazing pictures with the 41-MP camera, but users still won’t be able to share any of those photos using Instagram’s app.

Nokia CEO Stephen Elop announced during the Lumia 1020 unveiling event today that Vine, PathFlipboard and Hipstamatic are all coming to Windows Phone 8. But unfortunately for Instagram fans, there was no mention of the photo-sharing app coming to Windows Phone anytime soon.

As an alternative, Lumia 1020 owners can filter photos with Path or Hipstamatic and then share them via social networks.

All of the apps will use a new software development kit from Nokia that offers developers access to the Lumia 1020’s impressive camera and the Procamera app for taking photos.
