Trending: Could one city fly, fly away with Amazon’s HQ2 prize? Here’s who has edge on flights from Seattle

Updated below with answer and winner.

Last week’s Name that Tech Tune Challenge was so easy that literally nobody got it wrong, and almost everyone made fun of me for making it so easy. This week is very different. In fact, from the answers that have already started coming in from our radio show and podcast, almost everyone is getting it wrong.

Let’s call this one, Name that Tech Tune: Revenge of the TuneMaster.

Up for grabs: A coveted pair of three-day passes to Emerald City Comicon, courtesy of our guest, Kristina Rogers, the exhibits director for the show. Emerald City Comicon is coming up March 1-3 in Seattle, and the three-day passes are completely sold out, so it’s only appropriate that this week’s challenge is even more challenging than usual (and definitely more challenging than last week).

Are you ready? Here’s the tune.

If you think you know the correct answer, send it to We’ll pick the winner at random from the pool of correct answers.

For a little more context, and a longer clip of the tune, listen here for the full Name that Tech Tune segment on this week’s show (the new tune comes after our recap of last week’s cakewalk.)

If you think you know the answer, send it to We’ll give the answer and announce the winner next week.

Name that Tech Tune is a regular feature of the GeekWire radio show and podcast, which airs on 97.3 KIRO-FM in Seattle at 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. every Saturday. The show runs every weekend on  Also search for the show on Stitcher.

Update, March 2: This was the theme to The Flash television show from the early 1990s. Lots of guesses, but only a few of you got this right! Congrats to our winner, Chris, who is attending ECCC on us this weekend.
