In what’s equivalent to a startup all-star event, nine Startup Weekend champions from around the Northwest region are competing tonight at the first-ever Northwest Battle.
At the Impact HUB Seattle, the past champs will pitch against each other in front of judges — Greg Gottesman, Marc Nager, Mike Fridgen, Shauna Causey, Rebecca Lovell — and 300 others. It’s part of UP Global’s Global Startup Battle, which included more than 300 Startup Weekend events around the world from Nov. 15 to Nov. 22.
UP Global is the new Seattle-based entity that comprises Startup Weekend and Startup America. We plan on attending the battle tonight and will have a post-pitch recap following the event.
