President Obama just wrapped up his trip to an Amazon.com fulfillment center in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he toured the facilities and praised the Seattle online retail giant for being a “great example of what’s possible.”
Obama’s speech also touched on his new jobs plan, dog food, Kindles, beard trimmers and protein powder. Here are some photos from today via Twittersphere:

In advance of the event, Amazon this weekend announced that it is adding 5,000 new full-time jobs at its fulfillment centers around the country, a 25 percent expansion of its workforce at the facilities. Amazon overall has more than tripled in size in three years, now approaching 100,000 direct employees.
