momentum12Mindbloom’s apps are all about improving your life and the company’s newest endeavor certainly fits in that category.

momentum33The Seattle startup just officially debuted Momentum, an app that helps people record and remember the happier moments of each day.

Like Mindbloom’s other apps, Momentum combines the principles of behavioral science and gaming mechanics with the knowledge of experts and authors to help people be more happy.

In Momentum, users are asked to take photos and personalized notes of happiness-related items, which helps them earn points to keep the hot air balloon afloat. The app sends reminders throughout the day to record something that made users feel happy, and also suggests challenges like “Stand up and do a full stretch,” or, “One thing I’m grateful for is….”

Momentum is available on iOS, Android and Windows.

Mindbloom, based in Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood, was founded by Chris Hewett, formerly of the Monolith Productions video-game studio, along with Brent Poole, an Amazon.com veteran.
