The new NFL app on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

You knew Microsoft was placing a big investment in sports when it signed a multi-million dollar contract with the NFL earlier this year. Now the company is showing off its improved NFL app for Xbox Live Gold subscribers, as well as a refurbished ESPN app that sports fans may enjoy.

xboxoneespnThe NFL app for Xbox One, which is set to hit shelves this November, will give you access to live games, stats, scores and highlights, as well as personalization options depending on your favorite team. There will also be integration with Fantasy Football — and speaking of that, Microsoft also debuted a specific app for Fantasy Football that’s available today for the Xbox 360.

The new ESPN app will get a couple upgrades, including more personalization options to get the stats and scores of your teams. You will also be able to watch live ESPN action and watch highlights, much like you could with the older version of the app.
