We all have childhood memories — some good, others bad. Seattle native Chris Ballew wants yours for a new song and social media experiment.

Ballew, member of The Presidents of the United States of America and the man behind Caspar Babypants, is teaming up with the city to sing a song that starts “When I was little.” But to finish the track, he’s asking people to submit their childhood memories in 25 words or less either by using the Twitter hashtag #innwsong or posting to Facebook.

This is part of “The Social Music Experiment” put on by the Seattle Chamber of Commerce for the IN-NW Social Media Conference. Ballew, who attended The Bush School, will perform the new Caspar Babypants song at the Feb. 13 conference.
