Trending: Amazon expands Bezos’ elite ‘S-team,’ adding 6 execs from emerging branches of the company

destiny2At the annual GDC, Bungie today unveiled some more artwork and video from its new game Destiny.

We’ve seen trailers and some screenshots already, but the concept artwork released today and the video above give you a better idea of the how the characters and the Destiny world look. Bungie also has some of the artwork on its site.

Destiny is first title under Bungie’s name since the company spun off from Microsoft in 2007. The shooter, which will be available on both PS3 and Xbox 360, lets players create customizable characters and travel to other planets after a cataclysm destroys much of Earth. As one of the few survivors, players must defend Earth and reclaim the solar system from alien invaders.

There is no release date set for the game, which is being published by Activision, a Bungie partner.

Microsoft owned Bungie from 2000 to 2007, at which point it split into its own private company. Microsoft still owns rights to the Halo intellectual property.
