Jeff Bezos isn’t the first guy you’d expect to host a book club. But that’s exactly what he did this summer while working with Amazon’s Lab126 hardware-focused unit in Silicon Valley.
Bezos told CNBC that he held three all-day book clubs with some of Amazon’s top executives as a way to help spur discussion for Amazon’s future.
Here are the books he picked:
1. The Effective Executive by Peter Drucker — “The definite guide to getting the right things done”
2. The Innovator’s Solution by Clayton Christensen — “Creating and sustaining successful growth”
3. The Goal by Eliyahu Goldratt — “The best-selling business novel that introduced the Theory of Constraints and changed how America does business”
