If Seattle could have its own ice cream flavor, what would it be? Apples for Amazon? Marijuana Mocha? Seahawk Salmon?
OK, stop reading my nasty — and lame — suggestions and head to the Ben and Jerry’s website, because the popular ice cream company is crowdsourcing votes for city-specific flavors and Seattle is one of the lucky chosen few.
From now until Sept. 1, you’ll be able to vote on different ingredients, including two from local establishments:
- Theo Chocolate vs. Yellow Cake Pieces
- Caffe Vita vs. Marshmallows
- Chocolate vs. Vanilla
- Brownies vs. Cookie Dough
- Cherries vs. Raspberries
- Cookies vs. Pretzels
Voting ends Sept. 1, and you can get a scoop of the Seattle flavor at a community event on Sept. 14. Portland, San Francisco, New York City and Washington D.C are the other participating cities.
