If Seattle could have its own ice cream flavor, what would it be? Apples for Amazon? Marijuana Mocha? Seahawk Salmon?

benandjerrys1OK, stop reading my nasty — and lame — suggestions and head to the Ben and Jerry’s website, because the popular ice cream company is crowdsourcing votes for city-specific flavors and Seattle is one of the lucky chosen few.

From now until Sept. 1, you’ll be able to vote on different ingredients, including two from local establishments:

  • Theo Chocolate vs. Yellow Cake Pieces
  • Caffe Vita vs. Marshmallows
  • Chocolate vs. Vanilla
  • Brownies vs. Cookie Dough
  • Cherries vs. Raspberries
  • Cookies vs. Pretzels

Voting ends Sept. 1, and you can get a scoop of the Seattle flavor at a community event on Sept. 14. Portland, San Francisco, New York City and Washington D.C are the other participating cities.
