In yet another example of the Xbox 360 turning into an entertainment hub, Xbox Live today added content from video providers AOL and Vimeo.

Vimeo, a video-sharing website similar to YouTube, debuted its app today and allows for Xbox Live Gold members to watch Vimeo content on their Xbox. The app mirrors Vimeo’s mobile and web interface, and people can use the Kinect features to navigate the app.

Vimeo members can sync their profiles with their Xbox Live account for a streamlined experience that tells them when their Xbox Live friends are watching Vimeo videos and allows sharing of videos with Facebook friends. You can also put together a list of your favorite videos and have them continuously playback on the TV.

The AOL On Network, another short-form video network that debuted in April, also was added to Xbox Live today. Similar to Vimeo’s app, users can search for more than 420,000 videos using the Kinect, and also share videos via social media channels.
