For music lovers and supporters of the Seattle Symphony, you are in luck. The Symphony has launched a new mobile website and apps for iPhones and Androids, so fans can check schedules and buy tickets on the go.
The app features a clean, easy-to-use style, with additional helpful info like directions, special offers, video and audio samples, and more. The Seattle Symphony presents more than 200 performances each season, and concert-goers will be able to use their apps as e-tickets to scan for admittance to shows.
This past season marked the first year for the Symphony’s new music director, Ludovic Morlot, who has received much acclaim for bringing a contemporary edge to the schedule. Performances are held at the very posh Benaroya Hall downtown. In other words, it’s a class way to spend a night.
Both apps use CloudTix, software developed by Seattle-based technology firm POP.
