GeekWire is carrying on our quarterly meetup tradition with some seriously old-school summer fun, and we hope you can join us and over 200 members of the high-tech community as we host a low-tech carnival tomorrow, Wednesday Aug. 15, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at our world headquarters in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. See this page for details and registration.

We’ll be taking advantage of tomorrow’s 83 degree sunny forecast, and filling our parking lot with tents, refreshments, and activities for the whole family. Bring your colleagues — and your kids (your little ones can join us for free, and general admission is just $5).

Exactly what do we have in store? Test your strength with the high-striker, the speed of your soccer kick, the accuracy of your ping pong toss, and play for great prizes including weekly Top Pot doughnut delivery to your office for a month. Get yourself tatted up in Seattle startup style — minus the life-long commitment (ours are air-brushed).

Chow down on Dante’s Inferno Dogs, where the first 100 customers are free … as are beverages (beer, wine and more) and carnival classic popcorn. Cool off and treat yourself to Sweet Wheels hand-made ice cream sandwiches.

Most important, enjoy the kicking back (or competing) with a great group of techies in the summer sunshine. We’ve sold out of our free tickets (and are happy to be hosting 100 developers on our dime), so have now opened up registration to adults for just $5 (kids still free). Limited spots are still available by signing up here, and we hope to see you in Ballard tomorrow from 5-7 pm.

Thanks to platinum sponsor Microsoft Outlook, gold sponsors Colliers International, Filter, Tableau, and silver sponsors 47 Degrees, Buuteeq, Gravity Payments, Golazo, and Microsoft User Research for making this possible!
