Xeround, which moves SQL databases to the cloud, has raised an additional, $4 million in debt financing, according to a SEC filing. The company moved its headquarters from Israel to Bellevue in 2008, and it is now led by former  BMC Software executive Razi Sharir.

Backers of the company include Benchmark Capital, Ignition Partners, Trilogy Partnership and Giza Venture Capital.

Xeround earlier this month announced an add-on for the Heroku platform – the most popular platform as a service for Ruby developers. (Heroku, which sold to Salesforce.com last year, also was backed by Ignition).

We’ve got a call into the company and we’ll update the post as we find out more about the financing and the company’s plans.
