moreforemeT-Mobile this morning jumped into the daily deal business — or at least the daily deal aggregation business — with a new app for Android devices called “More For Me.”  The free app collects daily deals from around the country, from services including Living Social, and presents them to users depending on location.

It’s available on the Google Android Market for any Android device (not just T-Mobile phones) using Android 1.6 or higher.

T-Mobile signaled plans to further expand the service: “In partnership with Out There Media, a global leader in mobile advertising, T-Mobile will expand More for Me to reach virtually all of its customers, regardless of phone type, by offering them the option of receiving free text messages of exclusive offers, discounts and deals. The T-Mobile More for Me application is also expected to be built for other popular mobile operating systems later this summer.”

AT&T has agreed to acquire T-Mobile USA for $39 billion, but the deal is awaiting regulatory approval and the Bellevue-based wireless carrier has said it will continue normal operations in the meantime.
