T-Mobile USA has been taking a beating lately — finding itself on the receiving end of disparaging comments even from AT&T, the company that wants to buy it for $39 billion.
But an internal report obtained and published today by TmoNews shows that the Bellevue-based company is seeing positive trends in renewing its existing customers, seeing sizable year-over-year growth in renewals in each of the past three months.
Of course, renewing existing customers is one thing, and landing entirely new customers is another. The overall customer trends for T-Mobile USA have been down, according to public reports from its parent company, Deutsche Telekom.
But it’s a bit of positive good news for a company that faces an increasingly uncertain fate, particularly if the U.S. Justice Department’s challenge to the acquisition is successful.
