Every year the University of Washington turns out hungry entrepreneurial grads looking for their first startup job or internship. TheCenter for Innovation and Entrepreneurship atthe Foster School of Business plays matchmaker in May by hosting Springboard. It’s an event to bring startups and and students together.
How does it work?
Each company will be given six interview“slots” of 10 minutes each during the event. Students interested in acompany’s open positions will sign up for a slot to interview.
Startups will also receive online resumes of all students attendingthe event and there will be a networking event after the interviews.
Startups must registerin advance and the event is only open to 15 companies. Founders are expected to provide CIE with a one-pagejob description highlighting the position or positionsavailable by April 9.
Who are the students?
Undergraduates, MBAs, engineering students, law students andgraduate students who have taken entrepreneurship classes and want to work for startups. These are students looking for summer internships and job possibilities.
When: Tuesday, May 4, 2010, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Cost: The cost for startups to
registeris $50.
