Many people are doing the event hop tonight, as two prominent local tech events take place in downtown Seattle:

Tech Flash LIVE

TechFlash, our beloved local news source for all things tech/startup related is having their quarterly event at Palace Ballroom. Come rub elbows (or is that shoulders?) with John Cook, Todd Bishop, and Eric Engleman – not to mention pretty much the rest of the Seattle tech community – and enjoy some great food by Tom Douglas Catering.

The featured speaker is Ben Huh of ICanHazCheeseburger.com

Ignite Seattle

Ignite Seattle is coming back after a year long hiatus at King Cat Theater.  Doors open at 7pm (come early, the line is usually long) and the talks will begin at 8:30pm.  If you aren’t familiar with the Ignite format, speakers get 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds.  Keep an eye out for Brady Forrest and his magical silk coat (any guesses as to what color we’ll see tonight?)

Participate With Our Live Video Feeds

If you can’t make it out tonight, or found making the choice to difficult, rest assured Seattle 2.0 will be broadcasting LIVE wherever we’re allowed to!  Danielle Morrill will anchor the TechFlash event, and then meet up with the fabulous Brian Westbrook to hold down the fort at Ignite Seattle (no guarantee we can stream this one yet).  Watch the video and join in the chat here, or at http://www.seattle20.com/live
